We regularly visit places in our NW Olympia neighborhood, including the Garfield Nature Trail, Volunteer Park (the Pocket Park), Garfield Elementary, Woodruff Park, West Bay Woods, Oly Food Coop, and just general neighborhood walks.

Salmonberry and Elderberry kids (and occasionally Thimbleberries!) also go on field trips farther afield in the community via Intercity Transit. Some trips we like to take include: Olympia Farmer's Market, Olympia Timberland Library, Olympia Family Theater, etc.
